INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT CAMPHOR ALCOHOL
Composition:
Active substance: racemic camphor;
1 ml of solution contains 100 mg of racemic camphor;
Excipient: 70% ethanol.
Pharmaceutical form. Topical solution.
Main physicochemical properties: clear, colorless liquid with a characteristic camphor odor.
Pharmacotherapeutic group. Products used locally for joint and muscle pain.

Pharmacological properties.
The drug exerts antimicrobial, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and irritant effects.
Clinical characteristics.
Indications.
Externally – in inflammatory conditions (arthritis, myositis, arthralgia, myalgia, sciatica), for prevention of pressure ulcers.
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity. Ulcerative-necrotic skin disorders, predisposition to convulsive reactions.
Special precautions.
Avoid contact of the drug with eyes.
Avoid contact of the drug with mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with large amounts of running water.
Do not violate the instructions for use of the medicinal product, as this may harm health.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions.
