INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT CAMPHOR ALCOHOL-VISHFA

Composition:

Active substance: racemic camphor;

100 ml of solution contain 10 g of racemic camphor;

Excipient: ethanol 70%.

Pharmaceutical form. Topical solution, alcoholic.

Main physicochemical properties: clear, colorless liquid with a characteristic camphor odor.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Products used locally for joint and muscle pain.

Pharmacodynamics.

The medicinal product exerts antimicrobial, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and irritant effects.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications.

Topically — for inflammatory conditions (arthritis, myositis, arthralgia, myalgia, sciatica), and for prevention of pressure ulcers.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity. Skin ulcerative-necrotic disorders, predisposition to convulsive reactions.

Special precautions.

Avoid contact of the solution with eyes.

Avoid contact of the drug with mucous membranes. In case of accidental exposure, rinse thoroughly with copious amounts of running water.

Do not violate the instructions for use of the medicinal product — this may harm health.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interactions.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicinal product should be used only if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or infant.

Method of Administration and Dosage

"Camphor Alcohol-Vishfa" is intended for external use in adults for rubbing into the skin in the indicated pathological conditions. Apply to the skin 2–3 times daily.

The duration of treatment is determined individually.

Children.

Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

Overdose.

In case of overdose, adverse reactions may be intensified. Symptomatic therapy should be administered.

Side effects.

Possible manifestations of allergic reactions, rash, urticaria, skin irritation, headache, dizziness.

If any adverse events occur, consult a physician immediately!

The medicinal product must not be used after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
