Composition:

Active substance: ethanol;

not less than 95.1% v/v (92.6% w/w) and not more than 96.9% v/v (95.2% w/w) of ethanol, as well as water.

Pharmacological properties.

Pharmacodynamics.

When applied externally, exerts antiseptic, disinfectant, and local irritant effects. Ethanol coagulates proteins and is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and viruses. Exerts a "tanning" effect on skin and mucous membranes.

Pharmacokinetics.

When applied locally, it is not absorbed through the skin.

Indications.

Disinfection of hands.

Contraindications.

Increased individual sensitivity. Acute inflammatory skin conditions. Pediatric age under 14 years.

Special precautions.

If redness or skin irritation occurs, discontinue use of the medicinal product and wash the liquid off with water.

Avoid contact with eyes.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction.

When ethanol is applied externally, interactions with other medicinal products are unknown.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the use of the medicinal product is possible only when the expected benefit for the mother outweighs the potential risk for the fetus or child.
