Composition:
Active ingredient: brilliant green;
100 ml of solution contain 1 g of brilliant green;
Excipient: ethanol 60%.
Pharmaceutical form. 1% alcoholic solution for external use.
Main physicochemical properties: intensely green-colored liquid with a characteristic odor of alcohol.
Pharmacotherapeutic group. Antiseptics and disinfectants. ATC Code D08AX.
Pharmacological properties.
Pharmacodynamics.
An antiseptic agent for external and local use. Exerts antimicrobial action. The drug is active against gram-positive bacteria.
Pharmacokinetics.
The drug is intended for local action. There is no data on absorption into the blood or participation in the body's metabolic processes.
Clinical characteristics.
Indications.
Skin infections and inflammatory conditions (pyoderma, furunculosis, carbunculosis, blepharitis) of mild form, as well as treatment of surgical sites and skin surfaces after surgery or trauma.
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Special precautions.
Avoid contact of the drug with eyes.
The recommended application guidelines must not be violated, as this may harm health.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions.
When used simultaneously with topical agents containing organic compounds, proteins may be denatured and new compounds formed.
