Composition:
Active substance: formic acid;
100 ml of the preparation contain 1.4 g of formic acid;
Excipient: ethanol 70%.

Pharmacological Properties.
"Formic Alcohol" belongs to agents that stimulate sensitive nerve endings. By stimulating skin and subcutaneous tissue receptors, the drug exerts not only a reflexive but also a general humoral effect. Stimulation of receptors by Formic Alcohol is accompanied by enhanced production and release of endorphins, dynorphins, and peptides that play an important role in regulating pain sensations, vascular permeability, and other processes.
