Who should not use this drug?

Use is contraindicated in epilepsy, a tendency toward seizures, bronchial asthma, as well as hypersensitivity to the components of the composition. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

During the treatment period, you should refrain from driving a car and performing tasks that require increased attention and reaction speed.

What should you do if an adverse reaction occurs?

INSTRUCTION FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT DENTAL DROPS

Composition:

Active ingredients: 1 ml of the preparation contains: peppermint oil – 0.031 g, racemic camphor – 0.064 g, tincture of valerian (tinctura Valerianae) (1:5) (extraction solvent – 70% ethanol) (calculated as valeric acid) – up to 1 ml;

Excipients: none.

Pharmaceutical form. Dental solution.

Main physico-chemical properties: red-brown liquid with a pleasant odor.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Agents for local use in dentistry.

Pharmacodynamics.

The drug exerts a moderate analgesic and antiseptic effect, due to the pharmacological properties of the substances contained in its composition.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications.

Symptomatic treatment of dental pain of various etiologies.

Contraindications.

Increased individual sensitivity to the substances contained in the drug; epilepsy; predisposition to seizures; bronchial asthma. Avoid contact with damaged mucous membranes.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction.

If any adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use of the medication and wash off any residue from the application sites.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

During pregnancy or breastfeeding, the decision to use this medication should be made by a physician.

Method of Administration and Dosage

For use in adults to relieve toothache. Apply a cotton swab moistened with 2–3 drops of the medication directly to the affected tooth for 5–10 minutes.

Children

The drops are not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Overdose

In case of accidental ingestion, possible symptoms include severe gastrointestinal manifestations, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rectal ulcers, signs of central nervous system depression, dizziness, ataxia, seizures, loss of consciousness, flushing, drowsiness, respiratory difficulty, headache, excitation, cardiac dysfunction, and decreased arterial blood pressure. Treatment is symptomatic.

Side effects.

General disorders and administration site conditions: irritation of the mucous membrane, burning sensation.

Central nervous system disorders: dizziness, drowsiness, headache, ataxia, tremor, seizures, excitation.

Cardiac disorders: bradycardia.

Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders: bronchospasm.

Immune system disorders: allergic reactions may occasionally occur, including skin rash, urticaria, pruritus, erythema, anaphylactic shock.

Shelf life. 2 years.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
