How should the preparation be prepared and taken?

Pour 200 ml of hot water over 1.5–2 teaspoons of the herb, infuse in a water bath for 15 minutes, then cool for 45 minutes, strain, and top up with water to a volume of 200 ml. Adults and children aged 14 and older should drink ⅓ cup 2–3 times a day, 15–20 minutes before meals. For external use, the infusion is used for baths or compresses.

What are the contraindications for using PRIPHEI TRAWA (BIDENTISHERBA)?

The main contraindication is hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances contained in the preparation.

What are the possible side effects?

In case of hypersensitivity, allergic reactions may occur: itching, rash, redness (hyperemia), skin edema, or urticaria. In case of overdose, these reactions may intensify.

Can the preparation be taken by children or pregnant women?

Children under 12 years of age must not take the preparation internally. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should only use the preparation if prescribed by a physician, who will assess whether the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the child.

How should the prepared infusion be stored?

The prepared infusion should be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of 2 to 8 °C for no longer than 2 days.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT BIDENTIS HERBA (BIDENTISHERBA)

Composition:

Active substance: bidentis herba (Bidentisherba);

1 pack contains bidentis herba (Bidentisherba) 100 g.

Pharmaceutical form. Cut and compressed herb.

Main physico-chemical characteristics: cylindrical fragments 8–12 mm in length. Surface smooth, shiny, rarely dull, marbled; ends uneven. Color green, dark green, brownish-green, brown-green, brownish-brown with light specks.

Pharmaco-therapeutic group. Dermatological preparations. ATC code D11AX.

Pharmacological properties.

Pharmacodynamics.

Biologically active substances of the herb exert diuretic, diaphoretic, anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, choleretic, and bactericidal effects.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications.

Oral use, as part of combination therapy, in metabolic disorders, urinary tract diseases, respiratory infections (ARI, influenza); allergies.
Topical use – in allergic skin disorders, diatheses, pyoderma, psoriasis, eczema, neurodermatitis.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction. Unknown.

Special precautions for use.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Only under medical supervision when the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

Ability to affect reaction speed when driving vehicles or operating machinery. No effect.

Method of Administration and Dosage.

Place 1.5–2 teaspoons of cut and pressed herb into an enameled container, pour 200 mL of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and heat on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Allow to cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, then strain and squeeze the residue, adding the expressed liquid to the strained infusion. Adjust the volume of the infusion to 200 mL with boiled water. Take warm, 2–3 times daily, 15–20 minutes before meals: for adults and children aged 14 years and older – ⅓ cup; for children aged 12–14 years – ¼ cup.

Externally, use the infusion for compresses and baths.

Store the prepared infusion in the refrigerator (at a temperature of 2 to 8 °C) for no more than 2 days.

The duration of treatment is determined individually by a physician for each patient.

Children. Do not administer the preparation internally to children under 12 years of age.

Overdose. May enhance adverse reactions.

Side effects.

In case of hypersensitivity to the drug, allergic reactions may occur (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling, urticaria).

Shelf life. 3 years. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

Storage conditions. Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, in a place inaccessible to children.
