How should Pripivi travа be correctly prepared and taken?

To prepare, pour 200 ml of hot water over 2 tablespoons of the herb, infuse in a water bath for 15 minutes, cool for 45 minutes, strain, and top up with water to a volume of 200 ml. Adults and children aged 14 and older should drink 1/3 cup, while children aged 12-14 should drink 1/4 cup. Administration is carried out 2-3 times a day, 15-20 minutes before meals, in warm form. The infusion can also be used externally for baths or compresses.

What side effects may occur from taking the drug?

In case of increased sensitivity to the ingredients, allergic reactions may occur: redness, rash, itching, skin edema, or urticaria. Overdose may lead to an intensification of these reactions.

Who should not take this drug?

The drug should not be used in case of individual hypersensitivity to its components. Oral administration is prohibited for children under 12 years of age.

Can the drug be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

During this period, the drug is prescribed by a physician if the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the child.

Does the drug affect the ability to drive a vehicle?

No, the drug does not affect reaction speed when driving vehicles or operating other mechanisms.

I N S T R U C T I O N for medical use of the medicinal product BIDENTIS HERBA

Composition:

Active substance: bidentis herba (Bidentis herba);

1 pack contains: bidentis herba (Bidentis herba) 50 g;

1 filter bag contains: bidentis herba (Bidentis herba) 1.5 g.

Dosage form. Herba.

Main physico-chemical characteristics: fragments of leaves, stems, buds and flowers of various shapes, green, brownish-green, greenish-violet in color with dirty-yellow specks.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Dermatological preparations. ATC code D11AX.

Pharmacological properties.

Pharmacodynamics.

Biologically active substances of the herb exert diuretic, diaphoretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, choleretic, and bactericidal effects.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications.

Allergic skin disorders, diatheses, pyoderma, psoriasis, eczema, neurodermatitis. Urinary tract disorders, metabolic disorders, allergies; respiratory infections (ARI, influenza) (as part of combination therapy).

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients of the drug.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction. Unknown.

Special precautions for use.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Can be used only under medical supervision when the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

Method of Administration and Dosage

Place 2 tablespoons of the herb into an enameled container, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and heat on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Allow to cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, then strain and squeeze the residue. Adjust the volume of the resulting infusion with boiled water to 200 ml. Take warm, 2–3 times daily, 15–20 minutes before meals: for adults and children aged 14 years and older – ⅓ cup; for children aged 12–14 years – ¼ cup.

Place 2 filter packets into a glass or enameled container, pour 100 ml of boiling water, cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Take warm, 2–3 times daily, 15–20 minutes before meals: for adults and children aged 14 years and older – 100 ml; for children aged 12–14 years – 50 ml.

Externally, the infusion may be used for compresses and baths.

Store the prepared infusion at 8–15 °C for no more than 2 days.

The duration of treatment is determined individually by the physician.

Children. The drug should not be administered internally to children under 12 years of age.

Overdose. May result in an increase in adverse reactions.

Side effects.

In case of hypersensitivity to the drug, allergic reactions may occur (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling, urticaria).

Shelf life. 3 years. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

Storage conditions. Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, in a place inaccessible to children.

Packaging. 50 g in packs with an inner pouch; 1.5 g in tea-filter bags, 20 filter bags per pack, or in a pack with an inner pouch.

Availability. Over-the-counter (without prescription).
