INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT CINNAMON
Composition:
Active substance: cinnamon bark tincture;
1 vial contains cinnamon bark tincture (Cinnamomi cortex) (1:5) (extraction solvent — 70% ethanol) 50 ml or 100 ml.

Main physico-chemical properties: clear, reddish-brown liquid with a characteristic odor.

Cinnamon tincture is a medicinal product used for gastrointestinal functional disorders. The effect of the medicinal product is determined by biologically active substances contained in its composition.

Indications.
For symptomatic treatment of mild, spasmodic gastrointestinal disorders, including bloating and flatulence.
Contraindications.
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the medicinal product and to Peru balsam;

- pregnancy and breastfeeding period;

Cinnamon is a traditional herbal medicinal product used according to indications supported exclusively by long-standing use.
The patient should consult a physician if symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks during use of the medicinal product or if adverse reactions occur that are not listed in the product's instructions for medical use.
This medicinal product contains 70% v/v ethanol (alcohol), i.e. 742 mg/dose, equivalent to 19 ml of beer or 8 ml of wine per dose.
Harmful for patients suffering from alcoholism. Caution is advised when administering to patients with liver disorders and in patients with epilepsy.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
The medicinal product is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Ability to affect reaction rate while driving or operating machinery
The medicinal product contains ethanol and may cause drowsiness; therefore, during treatment, it is not recommended to engage in activities requiring high attention, or rapid mental and motor reactions.
