How should this product be used correctly?
Affected areas of the skin should be lubricated or rubbed with a cotton swab soaked in the solution 2-3 times a day. The drug should not be applied to large areas of the skin.
What are the possible side effects of Salitsiska-vishfa?
Possible side effects include skin irritation, dryness, peeling, dermatitis, or allergic reactions (itching, urticaria). With prolonged use, absorption into the blood is possible, which may cause tinnitus, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, or rapid breathing.
Who should not use the drug?
The product should not be used in case of increased individual sensitivity to it, nor in children under 12 years of age. Avoid contact of the solution with eyes and mucous membranes.
Can this product be combined with other medicines?
Local application should not be combined with the intake of tablets containing acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It should also not be used together with benzoyl peroxide or topical retinoids. The drug may enhance the effects of methotrexate and certain diabetes medications.
Can the product be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
This is only possible in cases where the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the child or fetus.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT SALICYLKA-VISHFA
Composition:
Active substance: salicylic acid;
100 ml of solution contain 1 g of salicylic acid;
Excipient: ethanol 70%.
Pharmaceutical form. Topical alcoholic solution.
Main physicochemical properties: clear, colorless liquid.
Pharmacotherapeutic group. Dermatologicals. ATC code D01AE12.

An antiseptic agent. Exerts antimicrobial, irritant, and counterirritant effects when applied locally.
Clinical characteristics.
Indications.
To be used for infectious skin lesions: common acne, pyoderma.
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Special precautions.
Avoid contact of the drug with eyes; do not apply to mucous membranes.
Do not violate the instructions for use of the medicinal product, as this may harm your health.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction.
Topical application of salicylic acid should not be combined with oral administration of drugs containing acetylsalicylic acid and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents. Do not use together with benzoyl peroxide and topical retinoids.
Salicylic acid may increase skin permeability for other topical medicinal products, thereby enhancing their systemic absorption. In addition, salicylic acid may potentiate the adverse effects of methotrexate and the hypoglycemic effect of oral antidiabetic sulfonylurea derivatives.

Children.
Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Overdose.
When large doses are applied, keratolytic effects and allergic reactions may be intensified. In such a case, the preparation should be washed off with water and medical advice should be sought. Symptomatic therapy is recommended.
Side effects.
Possible skin reactions: dryness, peeling, irritation, contact dermatitis, allergic reactions (urticaria, itching), which may require discontinuation of the drug.
With prolonged use, absorption of the drug into systemic circulation is possible, leading to side effects typical of salicylates: tinnitus, dizziness, epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting, acidosis, rapid breathing.
