INSTRUCTION FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT Child Powder
Composition:
Active substance: zinc oxide;
1 g of powder contains zinc oxide – 0.1 g;
Excipients: talc, potato starch.
Pharmaceutical form. Topical powder.
Main physico-chemical properties: white or white with a yellowish tint fine powder, soft, greasy to the touch.
Pharmacotherapeutic group.
Dermatological agents. Preparations with emollient and protective action. Zinc preparations. ATC code D02A B.
Pharmacological properties.
An adsorbent, drying, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory agent for external use. Has high hygroscopicity, adsorbs secretions of sweat and sebaceous glands, exudate, reduces friction of skin folds, protects the skin from adverse external influences.
Zinc oxide causes protein denaturation and formation of albuminates, which suppress local inflammatory processes with reduction of pain sensations, constrict blood vessels, and strengthen cellular membranes. The medicinal product reduces the severity of local inflammatory and irritant manifestations.
The components of the drug do not penetrate through the skin and do not exhibit systemic effects.
