How to correctly prepare and take the infusion?
To prepare, pour 200 ml of hot water over 2 dessert spoons of leaves and infuse for 15 minutes in a water bath. After cooling and straining, the volume of the infusion is brought up to 200 ml. Filter bags can also be used: pour 200 ml of boiling water over 2 bags and infuse for 15 minutes. The infusion is drunk warm 2-3 times a day, 30 minutes before meals, after shaking well.
What is the dosage of Nettle leaves for adults and children?
Adults and children aged 12 and older — 1/4–1/2 cup (if prepared from spoons) or 1/2–1 cup (if from filter bags). Children aged 7–12 years — 2 tablespoons (from spoons) or 1/4 cup (from filter bags). Children aged 5–7 years — 1 tablespoon (from spoons) or 2 tablespoons (from filter bags).
Who should not take this preparation?
Contraindicated in cases of increased blood clotting, arterial hypertension, as well as bleeding caused by tumors, polyps, or cysts of the uterus and its appendages. It should also not be taken in case of individual sensitivity to the ingredients.
Can the preparation be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women?
The preparation is prohibited for pregnant women. Breastfeeding women should consider that it enhances lactation.
What are the possible side effects of Nettle leaves?
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, as well as allergic reactions such as itching, rash, skin edema, or redness are possible.
Can the preparation be given to children?

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT NETTLE LEAVES (URTICAEFOLIUM)
Composition:
Active ingredient: nettle leaves (Urticae folium);
1 pack contains nettle leaves (Urticae folium) – 50 g; 1 filter bag contains nettle leaves (Urticae folium) – 1.5 g.

Main physicochemical properties:
Ground material: fragments of leaves of various shapes passing through a sieve with 7 mm diameter openings. Dark green in color. Slight odor. Bitter taste.
Coarse powder: fragments of leaves of various shapes passing through a sieve with 2 mm diameter openings. Dark green in color. Slight odor. Bitter taste.

Pharmacological properties.
Pharmacodynamics.
The biologically active substances of the drug exert hemostatic, diuretic, general strengthening, anti-inflammatory, and vasoconstrictive effects; promote an increase in hemoglobin levels and erythrocyte count; normalize blood composition; reduce blood glucose levels; support regeneration of gastrointestinal mucosa; and normalize lipid metabolism.

Pulmonary, intestinal, uterine, hemorrhoidal, and other bleedings; anemias of various etiologies; gastrointestinal tract disorders (gastritis, colitis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum).
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug. Increased blood coagulation; bleedings caused by cysts, polyps, and other tumors of the uterus and its appendages; arterial hypertension.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions. Unknown.
Special precautions for use.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Contraindicated during pregnancy. In breastfeeding women, enhances lactation.
Ability to affect reaction rate when driving or operating machinery. Not described.
Method of Administration and Dosage.
Place 2 dessert spoons of leaves into an enameled container, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and steep in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, then strain and squeeze the residue into the strained infusion. Adjust the volume of the infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Administer warm, 2–3 times daily, 30 minutes before meals: for adults and children aged 12 years and older – ¼–½ cup; for children aged 5–7 years – 1 tablespoon; for children aged 7–12 years – 2 tablespoons.
Shake the infusion before use.
Place 2 filter bags into a glass or enameled container, pour 200 ml of boiling water, cover and let steep for 15 minutes. Administer warm, 2–3 times daily, 30 minutes before meals: for adults and children aged 12 years and older – ½–1 cup; for children aged 5–7 years – 2 tablespoons; for children aged 7–12 years – ¼ cup.
