How should Ingafitole-1 be correctly prepared and used?

Pour 200 ml of hot boiled water over 2 tablespoons of the herbal mixture, bring to a boil over low heat, remove from heat, and use for inhalation for 5–10 minutes. After this, strain the infusion and use it for gargling while warm (½ cup, 3–4 times a day).

Who should not take this drug?

The drug is contraindicated in individuals with increased sensitivity to its components or hypersensitivity to plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family, as well as in children under 18 years of age.

What are the possible side effects of Ingafitole-1?

Possible allergic reactions: redness, rash, itching, skin edema, shortness of breath, Quincke's edema, vascular collapse, or anaphylactic shock.

Can the product be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Use is not recommended due to a lack of specific studies.

How long can the prepared infusion be stored?

The prepared infusion should be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of 2–8 °C for no more than 2 days.

What should be done if symptoms do not subside?

Instructions for use

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT INGAPHYTOL-1 (INHAPHYTOL-1)

Composition:

Active substance: 1 g of herbal blend contains 500 mg of chamomile flowers (Matricariae flores) and 500 mg of sage leaves (Salviae folia).

Pharmaceutical form. Herbal blend.

Main physico-chemical characteristics: a heterogeneous mixture of grey-yellow particles with dark green, yellow, yellowish-white, white, brown, rarely blue-violet and almost black specks.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Medicinal products used in colds. ATC code R05X.

Pharmacological properties.

Pharmacodynamics. The medicinal product exerts antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications. Acute and chronic respiratory diseases (pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis).

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to the components of the medicinal product, hypersensitivity to plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family. Pediatric use under 18 years of age.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction. Not known.

Special precautions for use.

Ingafitoll-1 is a traditional herbal medicinal product for use according to indications supported by long-standing use.

The patient should consult a physician if symptoms of the disease have not disappeared within 1 week of using the medicinal product "Ingafitoll-1" or if adverse reactions occur that are not listed in the instructions for medical use of the medicinal product.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Not recommended due to lack of specific studies.

Ability to affect reaction speed when driving or operating machinery. No effect.

Method of administration and dosage.

The medicinal product is intended for inhalations and gargling.

Place 2 tablespoons of the herbal mixture into an enameled container, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, bring to a boil over low heat, remove from heat, and use for inhalation within 5–10 minutes.

Strain the prepared infusion, squeeze out the residue, and use warm for throat gargling: ½ cup 3–4 times daily.

Adults should use undiluted.

The duration of treatment is determined individually by a physician.

Store the prepared infusion in a refrigerator (at temperature 2–8 °C) for no more than 2 days.

Children. The medicinal product is not administered to children (under 18 years of age).

Overdose. Cases of overdose have not been reported.

Side effects.

Allergic reactions are possible (hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling, shortness of breath, Quincke's edema, vascular collapse, anaphylactic shock).
