What are the possible side effects of Glodu tincture?

Who should not take this drug?

The tincture may enhance the effects of cardiac glycosides, antiarrhythmics, hypnotics, sedatives, and antihypertensives. It is not recommended to use it together with alkaloid salts and cisapride. Any concomitant use of other medicines should be reported to a physician.
Can you drive a vehicle during treatment?
Since the drug contains alcohol and may cause drowsiness, one should refrain from driving vehicles and performing work that requires high concentration during treatment.
What to do in case of overdose?
In case of overdose, it is necessary to discontinue the drug and seek symptomatic therapy. Symptoms of overdose include decreased blood pressure, drowsiness, and slowing of the heart rate.
Can the drug be given to children?
This drug is not used in children under 12 years of age.

Pharmacological properties.Biologically active substances contained in hawthorn fruits enhance blood circulation in the coronary vessels of the heart and in cerebral vessels, increase myocardial sensitivity to cardiac glycosides, moderately strengthen myocardial contractions and reduce its excitability. The drug is well absorbed when administered orally. The effect occurs within 30 minutes to 1 hour. |

Method and dosage of administration.Take orally before meals. Adults are recommended to take 20 drops of the tincture three times daily.
