How should the drug be taken correctly?
The tincture can be taken orally, used for mouth rinsing, or for steam inhalations. For adults, it is recommended to take 15–30 drops 3–4 times a day after meals. For rinsing, dilute 10–15 drops in 200 ml of warm boiled water. Inhalations can be performed using the undiluted drug or diluted with water.
What is the dosage for children?
Children aged 12 years and older are prescribed 1 drop for each year of age, 3–4 times a day after meals. Use should be carried out as prescribed and under medical supervision.
Who should not use Eucalypti tincture?
The drug is contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to its components, bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and biliary tract, as well as severe liver diseases.
What are the possible side effects?
Possible allergic reactions include: urticaria, redness, skin rash, itching, or Quincke's edema. Contact dermatitis in the lip area, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are also possible. In case of pronounced reactions, use should be discontinued.
Can I drive a car during treatment?
Since the drug contains ethanol, it is not recommended to use the tincture while driving a vehicle or operating machinery.
Can the drug be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women?
Due to the ethanol content in the composition, it is not recommended for women to take the tincture orally during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

"Eucalyptus Tincture" contains a complex of biologically active substances: tannins, ellagic acid, flavonoids, resins, wax, and essential oil, which includes various terpenoid compounds (including cineole, a monoterpene), exerting a detrimental effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, fungi, and protozoa. The preparation inhibits the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Trichomonas, and Entamoeba histolytica, and exerts antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, disinfectant, and mild sedative effects.

Adults are recommended to take 15–30 drops of the tincture internally, 3–4 times daily after meals; children aged 12 years and older – at a dose of 1 drop per year of life, 3–4 times daily after meals.
For gargling, dilute 10–15 drops of the tincture in 200 ml of warm boiled water.
Steam inhalations should be performed using inhalers of any type, applying the undiluted preparation or after prior dilution with water (as for gargling).
The duration of treatment depends on the therapeutic effect achieved, as determined by the physician.
