The medicinal product is used to treat infections caused by susceptible microorganisms, such as severe pneumonia, complicated urinary tract infections, abdominal infections (including peritonitis), biliary tract infections, and bacteremia. It is also used in the treatment of patients with fever during moderate or severe neutropenia.
