How to correctly prepare and take Chamomile flowers?

If using raw material: pour 200 ml of hot water over 1 tablespoon of flowers, infuse in a water bath for 15 min, cool for 45 min, strain, and top up with water to a volume of 200 ml. Adults should take 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day, 15 min before meals. If using filter bags: pour 200 ml of boiling water over 2 bags and infuse for 15 min. Adults should take 2 tablespoons 3-4 times a day, 15 min before meals. Shake the infusion before use.

I N S T R U C T I O N for medical use of the medicinal product TANSY FLOWERS (TANACETI FLORES)

Composition:

Active substance: tansy flowers.

Pharmaceutical form. Flowers.

Main physicochemical properties: Powdered raw material: intact flower heads, separate tubular flowers, receptacles and their fragments, fragments of peduncles; color yellow, brownish-green, light green; coarse powder: mixture of fragments of receptacles, peduncles, intact or powdered tubular flowers; color yellow, brownish-green, light green.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Agents used in biliary pathology. ATC code A05AX.

Pharmacological properties.

Pharmacodynamics.

Biologically active substances of the drug exert choleretic, antimicrobial, anthelmintic, phytoncidal, astringent, and anti-inflammatory effects.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications.

Ascariasis, enterobiasis; liver and biliary tract diseases (cholecystitis, cholangitis); gastrointestinal disorders (gastritis with reduced acidity, colitis, enterocolitis).

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity to the drug. Hepatitis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction. Unknown.

Special precautions.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Contraindicated.

Ability to affect reaction speed when driving or operating machinery. Does not affect.

Method of administration and dosage.

Place 1 tablespoon of flowers into an enameled container, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and steep in a water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, then strain, squeezing the residue into the strained infusion. Adjust the volume of the infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Take warm, 15 minutes before meals: adults – 1 tablespoon 3–4 times daily.

Shake the infusion before use.

Place 2 filter packets into a glass or enameled container, pour 200 ml of boiling water, cover and steep for 15 minutes. Take warm, 15 minutes before meals: adults – 2 tablespoons 3–4 times daily. Prepared infusion should be stored at 8–15 °C for no more than 2 days.

The duration of treatment is determined individually by a physician.

Children. Do not use the drug in children.

Overdose. Dyspeptic disorders, vomiting; in severe cases – seizures.

Side effects.

Allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling). If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use of the product and consult a physician.

Shelf life. 3 years.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

Storage conditions. Store in the original packaging, in a place inaccessible to children, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.
