How should Plantain juice be taken correctly?
The liquid should be taken orally 15–30 minutes before meals. For adults, it is recommended to take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day; for children aged 12 and older, 1 drop per year of age 2 times a day. The course of treatment is 30 days.
What side effects may occur from taking the drug?
Allergic reactions (redness, rash, itching, skin edema) and heartburn are possible. Additionally, the components of the formulation may cause severe hypersensitivity reactions or bronchospasm.
Who should not use this remedy?
The drug is contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to its components, gastroesophageal reflux disease (including reflux esophagitis), increased gastric acidity, as well as gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Can you drive a car during treatment?
Since the drug contains ethanol, you should refrain from driving motor vehicles or operating other mechanisms that require increased attention due to the possible effect on the central nervous system.
Does taking other medicines affect the action of the drug?
Yes, antacids and H2-blockers may reduce the effectiveness of the remedy.
Can the remedy be used by children and pregnant women?
The drug is not used in children under 12 years of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use it only when the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the child.
Can the drug be taken for gastritis?
In cases of gastritis, the remedy may only be used when gastric acidity is decreased or normal.

Composition:
1 vial contains:
Active substances: juice of Plantago psyllium 50 ml, juice of Plantago major 50 ml;
Excipients: ethanol (96%), sodium metabisulfite (E 223).
Pharmaceutical form. Oral liquid.
Main physicochemical properties: dark brown liquid with a specific odor. Sediment formation may occur during storage. Shake well before use.

Plantain contains the glycoside rinnanthin, flavonoids, polysaccharides, bitter and tannin substances, pectin, vitamin C, carotene, tannins, enzymes, and other compounds. This complex of biologically active substances enhances gastric secretory function and stimulates appetite.

Special precautions for use

Ability to affect reaction speed when driving or operating machinery
Due to the possibility of adverse reactions from the central nervous system and because the preparation contains 20% ethanol, driving or operating machinery requiring high attention should be avoided.

Overdose.
Cases of overdose have not been reported.

Metabisulfite contained in the preparation may cause severe hypersensitivity reactions, bronchospasm.
