How to correctly prepare the infusion?
Place 1 teaspoon (2.5 g) of the pods in enameled cookware, pour in 150 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and infuse in a water bath for 15 minutes. After this, allow to cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the residue, and bring the liquid volume up to 150 ml with water. Shake the infusion before use.
What is the dosage of Phaseoli stipites?
The infusion is taken warm, 2–6 times a day, 20–30 minutes before meals. The duration of the course is determined by a physician.
Who should not take this drug?
Contraindications include individual hypersensitivity to the product, as well as exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis or chronic enterocolitis. The drug is not intended for children under 18 years of age.
What are the possible side effects?
Allergic reactions are possible in individuals with increased sensitivity. In such cases, use should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT BEAN PODS FRUITS (Phaseoli valvae fructum)
Composition:
Active substance: 1 pack contains bean pods (Phaseoli valvae fructum) – 50 g or 60 g.
Pharmaceutical form. Fruit pods.
Main physico-chemical properties: fragments of pods, stalks, vascular bundles, and membranes of white, yellowish-white, light yellow, or yellow color, occasionally with mottling or streaking of brown or violet color, of various shapes.
Pharmacotherapeutic group. Antidiabetic agents. ATC code A10X.

The active ingredients of the medicinal product exhibit hypoglycemic effects in mild type 2 diabetes mellitus, as well as possess diuretic properties and promote normalization of metabolism.

Method of administration and dosage.

Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, then strain and squeeze the residue into the strained infusion. Adjust the volume of the infusion to 150 mL with boiled water. Take warm, 2–6 times daily, 20–30 minutes before meals. Before use, it is recommended to shake the infusion.
