Pour 200 ml of hot boiled water over 1 tablespoon of fruits and infuse in a water bath for 15 minutes. After cooling for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the residue, and bring the volume of the infusion up to 200 ml with water. Shake the infusion before use.
What is the dosage of Cumin fruits for adults and children?
Adults and children aged 14 years and older — 1/3–1/2 cup 2–3 times a day, 20 minutes before meals (as a carminative — after meals). Children 12–14 years old — 1/4 cup; 7–12 years old — 2 tablespoons; 3–7 years old — 1 tablespoon; 1–3 years old — 1 dessert spoon; from 6 months to 1 year — 1 teaspoon.
Can the preparation be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women?

Composition:
Active substance: caraway fruits.
Pharmaceutical form. Fruits.
Main physico-chemical properties: separate half-fruits, sometimes whole fruits, greyish-brown or brown in colour.
Pharmacotherapeutic group. Agents used in functional intestinal disorders.

The biologically active substances of the drug exert emetic, spasmolytic, bactericidal, expectorant, laxative, choleretic, and diaphoretic effects, and enhance lactation during breastfeeding.

Administration and Dosage
Place 1 tablespoon of fruit into an enameled container, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and steep in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, then strain and squeeze the residue into the strained infusion. Adjust the volume of the infusion with boiled water to 200 ml.
Administer warm, 2–3 times daily, 20 minutes before meals (if used as a carminative, take after meals): adults and children aged 14 years and older—1/3 to 1/2 cup; children aged 12–14 years—1/4 cup; aged 7–12 years—2 tablespoons; aged 3–7 years—1 tablespoon; aged 1–3 years—1 dessertspoon; children aged 6 months to 1 year—1 teaspoon. Shake the infusion before use. Prepared infusion should be stored at 8–15°C for no more than 2 days.
