How should Glodu tincture be taken correctly?
The drug should be taken orally before meals. For adults, it is recommended to take 20 drops 3 times a day. For children aged 12 and older, take 1 drop for each year of age 3 times a day until a stable effect is achieved. The duration of the course is determined by a physician.
What are the possible side effects of Glodu tincture?
Possible allergic reactions (rash, itching, skin edema, redness), significant slowing of the heart rate, and drowsiness.
Who should not take this drug?
Contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to the components, significantly low blood pressure (hypotension), and a slow heart rate (bradycardia). Use is prohibited in children under 12 years of age. It is also not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Can you drive a car during treatment?
Due to its alcohol content, the drug may cause drowsiness; therefore, one should refrain from driving motor vehicles or operating dangerous machinery during use.
How does the drug interact with other medicines?
It enhances the effects of cardiac glycosides, antiarrhythmics, hypnotics, sedatives, and antihypertensives. It is not recommended to take it together with alkaloid salts and the drug cisapride.
What should be done in case of overdose?
In case of overdose, discontinue use of the drug. Symptoms may include decreased blood pressure, drowsiness, and a slow heart rate. Symptomatic therapy is required.

INSTRUCTION FOR MEDICAL USE OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT HAWTHORN TINCTURE
Composition:
Hawthorn fruit tincture (Crataegi fructus);
Active substance: 1 bottle (jar) of the medicinal product contains hawthorn fruit tincture (Crataegi fructus) (1:10) (extractant – 70% ethanol) 50 ml or 100 ml;
Excipients: absent, except for the extractant;
1 ml of the medicinal product contains 0.65 ml of ethanol.

Tincture.

Clear yellowish-brown liquid. Sediment may form during storage.

Biologically active substances contained in hawthorn fruits enhance blood circulation in the coronary vessels and cerebral vessels, increase myocardial sensitivity to cardiac glycosides, and reduce its excitability, resulting in a moderate strengthening of myocardial contractions.
Pharmacokinetics:
The medicinal product is well absorbed after oral administration. The effect develops within 30 minutes to 1 hour.
