How to correctly prepare a Blueberry shoots infusion?
If using shoots: pour 200 ml of hot water over 1 tablespoon, infuse in a water bath for 15 minutes, cool for 45 minutes, strain, and top up with water to a volume of 200 ml. If using filter bags: pour 200 ml of boiling water over 2 bags and infuse for 15 minutes.
What is the dosage of Blueberry shoots for adults and children?
Adults should take the infusion warm 15-20 minutes before meals: when using shoots — 1/3–1/2 cup 3 times a day; when using filter bags — 1/2–1 cup 3 times a day. For children from 3 years of age, the dosage is determined by a physician (from dessert spoons to 1/2 cup) 3 times a day, 15-20 minutes before meals.
Who should not take this preparation?
Contraindications include hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation and biliary dyskinesia. The preparation is not prescribed to children under 3 years of age.
What are the possible side effects?
In case of individual sensitivity, allergic reactions may occur: skin redness, rash, itching, or swelling. In such cases, administration should be discontinued and a physician should be consulted.
How to store the prepared infusion?
The prepared infusion can be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of 2-8 °C for no more than 2 days.

Composition:
Active substance: Vacciniimyrtillicornus (Vaccinium myrtillus shoots);
One pack contains: Vacciniimyrtillicornus – 75 g;
One filter bag contains: Vacciniimyrtillicornus – 1.5 g.

Main physico-chemical characteristics:
Ground raw material: fragments of stems, leaves, occasionally buds, flowers and fruits. Stems – green; young leaves – from light green to green, older leaves are darker; corolla – greenish-white with pinkish tinge; fruits – black berries with a bluish bloom.
Coarse powder: fragments of stems and leaves, occasionally buds, flowers and fruits of light green, green color with black and greenish-white with pinkish tinge inclusions.

Pharmacological properties.
Pharmacodynamics.
The biologically active substances of the drug exhibit hypoglycemic effects in mild to moderate type 2 diabetes mellitus, making it possible in some cases to reduce daily doses of oral antidiabetic agents; they also have anti-inflammatory, diuretic, choleretic, and astringent effects.

Method of Administration and Dosage
Place 1 tablespoon of the herb in an enameled container, pour 200 mL of hot boiled water, cover with a lid, and let steep in a water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, then strain and squeeze the residue into the strained infusion. Adjust the volume of the infusion to 200 mL with boiled water.
Adults should take the warm infusion in doses of ⅓–½ cup three times daily, 15–20 minutes before meals.
Children aged 3 years and older, under medical supervision and according to age, should take from 1 dessert spoon to ¼ cup three times daily, 15–20 minutes before meals.
The infusion should be shaken before use.
Place 2 filter bags into a glass or enameled container, pour 200 mL of boiling water, cover and let steep for 15 minutes.
Adults should take the warm infusion in doses of ½–1 cup three times daily, 15–20 minutes before meals.
Children aged 3 years and older, under medical supervision and according to age, should take from 2 dessert spoons to ½ cup three times daily, 15–20 minutes before meals.

Side effects.
