The preparation is used to treat functional gastrointestinal disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia. It may also be used as an adjunct therapy for gastritis if stomach pain, a feeling of fullness, flatulence, spasms, nausea, or heartburn are observed.
