The drug is used for anxiety states, restlessness, fear, and insomnia. It is prescribed to improve memory and attention, for dizziness (including Meniere's disease), for the prevention of motion sickness (kinetosis), as well as for stuttering and tics in children aged 8 years and older. It can also be used as an adjunct therapy for alcohol withdrawal syndrome.
