The drug is used to prevent and stop capillary bleeding. It is prescribed during and after surgical operations (in dentistry, gynecology, ophthalmology, and other fields), for nosebleeds, gum bleeding, excessive menstruation, as well as for the prevention of bleeding in premature infants.

The drug is used for the treatment of inflammatory and degenerative joint diseases (rheumatism, arthritis, osteoarthritis), acute attacks of gout, renal and biliary colic, as well as for the relief of pain and swelling after injuries, surgeries, or during severe migraine attacks. Intravenous infusions are used for the prevention or treatment of postoperative pain.
