The drug is used for the prevention and treatment of bleeding caused by vitamin K deficiency or blood clotting disorders. It is also used for hemorrhagic complications during anticoagulant therapy (e.g., warfarin), in liver and biliary tract diseases, and to protect the mother and newborn from bleeding before childbirth.
