The drug is used for medical termination of early intrauterine pregnancy (up to 49 days of amenorrhea) in combination with misoprostol, for cervical preparation prior to surgical termination of pregnancy in the first trimester, as well as to assist in pregnancy termination for medical indications in the second or third trimesters or in cases of intrauterine fetal death.
