The drug is used to prevent skeletal-related events (such as pathological fractures, the need for bone radiation, surgical intervention on bones, or spinal cord compression) in adults with late-stage malignant tumors that affect the bones. It is also indicated for the treatment of adults and adolescents with mature skeletal systems who have giant cell bone tumors, if they cannot be surgically removed or if surgery poses a risk of severe consequences.
