The drug is used for the treatment and prevention of bleeding during surgical interventions or other invasive procedures in patients with congenital hemophilia (with the presence of inhibitors or an exaggerated response to factors VIII or IX), acquired hemophilia, congenital factor VII deficiency, and Glanzmann's thrombasthenia. It is also indicated for the treatment of severe postpartum hemorrhage if standard therapy is ineffective.
