    The drug is used to relieve pain caused by spasms in the gastrointestinal tract (in gastritis, ulcers, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome), bile ducts (in cholecystitis, gallstone disease), pancreas, and urinary tract. It is also used for menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) and for preparation for endoscopy or gastric radiography.
