Exelgyn

It is used for the medical interruption of pregnancy (up to a maximum of 63 days after the first day of the last menstrual period), to soften and dilate the cervix before a surgical interruption, as a pre-treatment before the administration of prostaglandins after the third month of gestation, or to induce labor in cases of intrauterine fetal death when other treatments are not possible.
