It is used to prevent Rh(D) immunization in Rh(D) negative women, both during pregnancy (before or after complications) and after childbirth if the baby is Rh(D) positive. It is also used to treat Rh(D) negative individuals who have received an incompatible blood transfusion.

It is used to prevent isoimmunization in Rh(D)-negative women who are pregnant or have had an Rh(D)-positive baby, or who have experienced complications such as miscarriages, loss of a baby, or hemorrhages. It is also used in Rh(D)-negative adults, children, or adolescents who have accidentally received an Rh(D)-positive blood transfusion.
