How to use Sage Ointment?
The affected areas of the skin should be applied 2 to 4 times daily.
When should you not use this product?
Do not use it if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, if you intend to apply it to large areas of skin or open wounds, or in infants and young children. It must also not be used in cases of nipple inflammation during breastfeeding.
Does Sage Ointment cause side effects?
Like all medicines, it can cause side effects, although not everybody will get them.
Can this medicine be used with other preparations?
Before starting use, inform your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are currently taking or have taken recently.
Can you drive after using the ointment?
The use of the medicine does not affect your ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.
How should the medicine be stored?

1. What is Salvia ointment and what it is used for
Salvia ointment is intended for traditional use in the indications listed, the effectiveness of which is based solely on long-standing use and experience.
Used as an adjunct in inflammatory conditions of the skin.
2. Important information before using the medicinal product Maść szałwiowa
When not to use Maść szałwiowa:
- do not use on extensive skin areas or open wounds, as the components of the ointment may have systemic effects
- if the patient is allergic to any of the ingredients of the product
- do not use in infants and young children
- do not use in inflammatory conditions of the nipples during breastfeeding.

Maść szałwiowa and other medicinal products
Inform your doctor or pharmacist about all medicinal products currently used or recently used, as well as any products you plan to use.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If the patient is pregnant, suspects she may be pregnant, plans to become pregnant, or is breastfeeding, she should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicinal product.
Do not use in inflammatory conditions of the nipples during breastfeeding.
Driving and operating machinery
Maść szałwiowa has no influence on the ability to drive or operate machinery.

physician or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
The medicine is for external use on the skin.
Recommended dose: Apply to affected skin areas 2–4 times daily.
Do not use in infants and young children.
Use of a higher than recommended dose of Maść szałwiowa
Due to topical application, the likelihood of overdose is very low.
Missed dose of Maść szałwiowa
Do not apply a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

5. How to store Maść szałwiowa
Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton.
The expiry date refers to the last day of the stated month.
Medicines must not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. Such measures help protect the environment.

- Extraction solvent: ethanol and white vaseline

Maść szałwiowa is a green ointment packed in polypropylene containers with polyethylene caps, placed in a cardboard box.
The packaging contains 10 g or 25 g of ointment.
