Valdepharm

The medicine is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (causing pain, inflammation, and heartburn) and gastric ulcers caused by the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It may also be used to prevent recurrent bleeding after endoscopic treatment of ulcers and to prevent the formation of ulcers in people taking anti-inflammatory drugs.

The medicine is used in children and adolescents (from 6 months of age to 17 years) to induce moderate sedation before a surgical or diagnostic procedure (to relieve anxiety and apprehension) and as preparation before anesthesia.
