This is an anticancer medicine used for palliative treatment (relieving symptoms and preventing suffering) in certain types of cancer, such as brain tumors, multiple myeloma, lymphomas, gastrointestinal tumors, and malignant melanoma. It is also used as preparation before autologous stem cell transplantation.

The medicine is used in adults and children over 1 year of age to prevent and treat bleeding. It may be helpful in cases of heavy menstruation, gastrointestinal bleeding, urinary tract disorders after surgery, procedures involving the ear, nose, throat, heart, abdomen, or gynecological procedures, as well as bleeding caused by blood-thinning medications.
