The medicine is used to relax muscles or reduce saliva secretion. In adults, it helps in the treatment of, among others, blepharospasm, cervical dystonia, stiffness of the shoulder, arm, and hand muscles, and chronic drooling. In children and adolescents (from 2 to 17 years of age, weighing ≥ 12 kg), it is used to treat chronic sialorrhea resulting from neurological or neurodevelopmental disorders.
