    It is a muscle relaxant used in adults and children as an adjunct to general anesthesia. It helps facilitate the insertion of a tube into the airways (intubation) and provides skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery. It may also be used in intensive care units to facilitate mechanical ventilation.
