    Stomezul is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (manifesting, among other things, as heartburn and pain), gastric or duodenal ulcers (caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria or the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs [NSAIDs]), as well as in cases of excessive hydrochloric acid secretion in the stomach (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome).
