The medicine is used in progesterone hormone replacement therapy in cases of hormone deficiency. It helps in cases of irregular cycles related to ovulation disorders, premenstrual pain and disorders, bleeding (e.g., caused by fibroids), and in the treatment of menopause (in combination with estrogen therapy).
