The medicine is used to treat or prevent eye disorders caused by allergies. It helps with hay fever (seasonal conjunctivitis) in adults and children from 4 years of age, and with perennial conjunctivitis caused by allergy to dust mites or animal hair in adults and children from 12 years of age.
