The medicine has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-oedematous properties. It is used topically in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age for inflammation following injuries (sprains, contusions), back pain, and soft tissue inflammation (e.g., tennis elbow). Adults over 18 years of age may also use it for mild osteoarthritis.
