The medicine is used in adults and adolescents (from 15 years of age) to treat symptoms such as hearing or seeing things that are not there, suspicion, incoherent speech, emotional blunting, sadness, or anxiety. In adolescents from 13 years of age, it is also used in cases of severe agitation, racing thoughts, and high irritability. In adults, it also helps to prevent the recurrence of these symptoms.
