This is an anticancer medicine used in the treatment of certain types of brain tumors. In adults with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme, it is used first in combination with radiotherapy, and then as monotherapy. In children over 3 years of age and in adults, it is used in the case of tumor recurrence (e.g., glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma) after standard treatment.
