This is an anticancer medicine used in the treatment of brain tumors. In adults with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme, it is used first in combination with radiotherapy, and then as monotherapy. In children over 3 years of age and in adults, it is used in cases of tumor regrowth or disease progression (e.g., glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma).
