    The medicinal product is used in the treatment of acute infectious diarrhea, diarrhea in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), prevention of diarrhea associated with antibiotic use, enteral nutrition, and traveler's diarrhea. It also helps in recurrent diarrhea caused by Clostridium difficile infection and provides supportive treatment for Helicobacter pylori infection.
