tinidazole

This is an antibacterial and antiprotozoal medication. It is used to treat, among other things, infections caused by anaerobic bacteria (e.g., peritonitis, gynecological infections, respiratory tract infections), trichomoniasis, giardiasis, amoebiasis, and Helicobacter pylori infection. It may also be used prophylactically after surgery.
