The medicinal product is used in adults for the treatment of, among other things, acute gastrointestinal bleeding (e.g., from gastric or duodenal ulcers, esophageal varices), intestinal and pancreatic fistulas, symptomatic hypersecretion caused by gastrointestinal endocrine tumors, and for the prevention of complications following pancreatic surgery or ERCP procedures.
