The medicinal product is used to supplement potassium deficiencies, regardless of their cause. It may also be used in diabetes, during prolonged diarrhea, in cases of intestinal fistulas, and in situations where other medications (e.g., certain diuretics, steroid hormones, or digitalis glycosides) may lead to a decrease in potassium levels.
