This medicine is used to treat stomach and duodenal ulcers, inflammation of the esophagus (reflux esophagitis), and heartburn with acid regurgitation. It is also used to fight Helicobacter pylori infection (in combination with antibiotics), to prevent ulcers in those taking anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and for Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Dosage form: capsules, hard gelatin, gastro-resistant

This medicine reduces the production of acid in the stomach and is indicated for the treatment of reflux esophagitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers (also in combination with antibiotics to fight Helicobacter pylori), Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, and other disorders caused by excess acid secretion.
