Barsovi is used by adults for several conditions: to reduce the risk of heart attack or death in the event of acute coronary syndrome; to prevent the formation of blood clots after hip or knee replacement surgery; to treat and prevent the recurrence of blood clots in the leg veins (deep vein thrombosis) and in the lungs (pulmonary embolism); and to prevent stroke in people with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.
